The Miyamoto Earthquake Risk Reduction Program (ERRP) utilizes Performance Based Design concepts and applies them to existing facilities.The ERRP has been expanded over the years to incorporate other natural hazards, such as hurricanes and typhoons. Many corporations, governments, and industries, including power generation, essential services, defense, technology, healthcare, institutional, educational, commercial, and larger multi-family residential, have implemented this design.
